The Love Images Review is a small magazine that was founded by me, Ethel Williamson, and my sister Frances Tompkins back in 1995. It was never a fancy printed sort of magazine, not by any means. It was just a report about happenings in and around Bloomington, Indiana, where my family has lived for generations, which Frances and I wrote up on our computers, and printed out and distributed to a few of our best friends. But our friends really liked our report, and so they told their friends, and their friends told their friends, and in this way within just a few years our circulation had grown to more than a thousand. Then, back in 2005, we took our review online. And now we have more than 10,000 subscribers to our blog, the vast majority of whom are right here in Bloomington or in the surrounding areas, but a few of which are scattered here and there all across the globe. Frances passed away in 2013, and so ever since then I have been keeping the Love Images Review going all by myself.
